Elite Sporting Technology ("we", "us") operates Bench'd. We act as the data controller for personal data you provide through the Service.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, login credentials, display name.
  • Service content: team rosters, players (including names and dates of birth used for age-group eligibility), match stats, notes you create.
  • Support data: messages you send to us.
  • Usage and device data: pages visited, actions, IP address, browser/device identifiers, log timestamps.

3. Why we use it

  • Create and operate your account (contract performance).
  • Provide the Service: rosters, planner, stats, exports (contract performance).
  • Security, fraud prevention and abuse detection (legitimate interests).
  • Customer support (legitimate interests / contract).
  • Product improvement and analytics (legitimate interests).
  • Marketing communications, where you have opted in (consent).
  • Compliance with legal obligations.

4. Who we share with

  • Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database, authentication and analytics providers, under appropriate data-processing agreements.
  • Merchant of Record: Paddle.com processes our payments, manages subscriptions, handles taxes and issues invoices. Paddle is an independent controller for payment data.
  • Professional advisers: legal and accounting, where required.
  • Authorities: where required by law.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

6. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Match and player data may be retained on a short grace window after a downgrade or cancellation so you can export it.

7. Your rights

Subject to local law you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and database-level row security.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children

Coaches and parents may enter children's roster data (such as name, jumper number and date of birth) to operate a team. Access to that data is restricted via role-based access controls to coaches and linked parents of the player.
